Who is served by globalisation?

Listen to my story
The story
Of the fisherman

A poor Moroccan man
Not a Beggar
Had learned to fish

He sold his fish
On the market
Without licence

   For big predators
    Eat the small ones

And there the police
Begged him
To quit

He refused
For it was his bread
His daily life

Police ceased
His fish
And throw them away

   For big predators
    Eat the small ones

And the fisherman
Defended his own
Against all odds

For it was his bread
His reason for living
His work

He was killed
For no reason
By his predators

   For big predators
    Eat the small ones

And now
His wife in sorrow
His country in grief

Awake my friends
For his story
Is ours

the death of the small ones
   For big predators
    Eat the small ones

  1. I owed that boat… ow ow ow

    And now a float
    Of industrial boats

    Riding the waves

No more fish … ow ow ow

    And no more bread
    Only waves rolling

    Who wants my boat?
